VOTA App: When you use our mobile applications, such as the VOTA app (the “Apps”), we automatically receive certain information about the mobile phone, tablet, or computer used to access the Apps, including a mobile device identifier, advertising identifiers (in accordance with your device settings), IP address, operating system, version, Internet service provider, browser type, domain name, and other similar information, whether and when you update the Apps, date and time of use, and how you use the Apps, including time spent in different portions of the Apps.
Location Information: When you use the Services, we and our vendors may automatically collect general information (e.g., IP address, city/state and or postal code associated with an IP address) from your computer or mobile device.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies: To collect the information discussed in this section, we and our service providers may use web server logs, cookies, tags, SDKs, tracking pixels, and other similar tracking technologies. These technologies help to offer you a more tailored experience.
As we adopt additional technologies, we may also gather information through other methods.

Social Media Integrations
The Services may give you the option to log in to VOTA through various social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo or other sites. If you log in through your social media profile, we may receive information from the social network including your profile information, profile picture, gender, username, user ID associated with your social media account, age range, language, country, friends list, and any other information you permit the social network to share with third parties. The data we receive is dependent upon your privacy settings with the social network. You should always review, and if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to our website or Service.
Information From Other Unaffiliated Parties
In addition to information collected from other parties through social media integrations, we may also collect information about you from other parties and sources. For example, we may collect information from unaffiliated parties about political candidates, including information about their positions on various issues.
We use the information we collect to provide, analyze, and improve the Services, including to personalize the Services. For example, we use your quiz responses to identify political candidates and parties that may align with the values you express through quiz responses. If you save your results, we may use your email address to send you certain information, including a link to your voting guide, a reminder to vote or information about political issues, candidates and elections.
We also use your information to provide customer service, such as responding to your comments, questions, and requests, and to otherwise communicate with you, including regarding the Services and other products, surveys, and other news and information that we think may be of interest to you. This may include contacting you about causes, organizations, and candidates you may be interested in.
We may use your information for legal, security, and other similar purposes, including to comply with our legal obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law, protect the safety and integrity of our Services and their users, such as to prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to fraud, unauthorized access/use of the Services, and other wrongful behavior; and to enforce our Terms and Conditions and any other agreements we may have with you.
We also use your information to carry out any purpose that we disclose to you when we collect your information. In addition, we may use your information with your consent for the purposes for which you have provided that consent.
Combining Data. We may combine information that we collect from you through the Services with information that we obtain from other sources. Account Information. You may update, correct, or modify your account information by logging into your account and making any associated changes.
Marketing Emails. You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us by following the instructions in those marketing emails. If you choose to opt out, we will still send you non-marketing communications, such as those about your Account.

Shine the Light. Once a year, California residents can also request certain information regarding our disclosure, if any, of certain categories of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year.
